....I have to get a job

Hey Reader,

The Realization That Changed Everything

I know I’ve been MIA, but I'm back with 2 announcements.

1st announcement: I’m pausing sales and marketing to focus on my product. This may include the newsletter.

Right now, my product isn't good enough.

In July, three clients missed their goals... no bueno.

I made them whole with refunds or extended services.

But, I’ll be honest, this is scary to share. I don't want to tarnish my reputation.

My goal has always been to help you avoid the mistakes I make.

So, instead of only sharing the ups, I will always share the lows as well.

Here's how I got here!

The Cycle That Almost Broke Me

As I always say: When you rush, you get rushed results.

My last 12 months looked like this:

  • Revenue swings: $0 → $10k → $2k → $0
  • Credit cards stacked with “survival” expenses
  • Constantly chasing new clients instead of serving my current ones
  • Stressing about how to take my girlfriend on a date (FYI — you can’t have a girlfriend and be broke lol)

I kept saying, “Once I hit $10k again, I’ll be fine.” But that’s not how stability works.

This stress pushed me to make dumb decisions:

  • Missing clients' goals
  • Running ads on this newsletter before delivering value (sorry y’all)
  • Pivoting away from my passion for quick cash
  • Taking on low-quality clients
  • Overloading myself with work
  • Focusing on money instead of mastery

I built from fear because I was afraid of getting a job.

And when you build from fear, you build weak foundations.

If your business isn’t stable yet, keep your job. Otherwise, you’ll keep thinking short-term and repeating the same cycle.

Bringing me to my second announcement: Since I’m focusing on mastery instead of money, I’m facing my fears & getting a job.

I’m looking at Product Manager and Product Marketing roles, so feel free to share any that fit.

Not to quit on my dream — but to fund it.

The Next Chapter: Play the Long Game

Quick wins don’t build real freedom — systems do.

So, I’m rebuilding ScatterMind for the long term.

The Vision

The operating system for ADHD entrepreneurs

The Product

Training wheels for executive functioning skills

The Focus

  • Fulfillment: Knock it out of the park with my current 10 clients.
  • Consistency: Hit 90%+ success rates before scaling again.
  • Marketing: Relaunch before 2026, backed by undeniable results.
  • Content: Share my lessons through video, YouTube, and Instagram.
  • Trust: Remove the stress of finding clients by showing results that speak for themselves.

My goal is simple: Become so good they can’t ignore me.

Think

  • LeBron.
  • Phelps.
  • Bolt.
  • Brady.
  • Beyoncé.
  • Ledecky.

The GOAT of ADHD entrepreneurship.

And I’m already on my way — one of my clients just hit a huge milestone:

"I probably released 20 plus tracks since I started working with him, which is just insane. Most music I've ever put out."

The Silver Lining

This journey humbled me and taught me the lessons I needed most:

  • Keep your word — it’s the most valuable thing you own.
  • Try your hardest — people give grace when they see effort.
  • Nerves mean you need to prepare more, not panic.
  • Don’t scale until you can deliver consistent results.
  • Focus on passion and mastery, not quick money.
  • If you’re using credit to survive, get a job.
  • Always prioritize your clients — everything good flows from that.
  • Being a good person always pays off in gold.

Thinking short-term guarantees things take a long time.

The Promise

Now that I’ve said this publicly, I want you to hold me accountable.

Push me to be:

  • Transparent
  • Impactful
  • The best

Because this time, I’m not chasing quick wins — I’m playing the long game.

Hey Reader, Today, I want to talk about how to bounce back from vacation without the post-trip anxiety spiral. Miami + Mexico City = Disaster In June, I traveled to Mexico City and Miami.
