Vacation Hangover? Here’s How to Stay Consistent

Hey Reader,

Heads Up: I attached a new YouTube Video & my ADHD hacks in the footer

This is part 2 of my vacation series.

  1. Part 1: How to prepare before you leave
  2. Part 2: How to recover after vacation or anything that disrupts your routine.

The Post-Vacation Crash

Vacations should feel like freedom.

But for ADHD entrepreneurs, they often leave us in a spiral of procrastination, inconsistency, and anxiety.

In May, I went to Miami with my sister. Instead of mojitos, sunshine, and vibes… it turned into stress city.

I spent the trip:

  • Fighting unrealistic expectations
  • Focusing on work instead of fun.
  • Stressed about work, I wasn’t doing
  • Abandoning my processes (Yes, this happens to me too)

By the end of the week, I looked like this.

So, when I got home,

  • Anxiety built up, so I launched into work mode
  • Neglected my health
  • My work suffered, putting me in an even worse mood.

And if I hadn’t reset, that inconsistency would have lingered for weeks.

The Real Problem: Wrong Priorities

Most of us try to jump straight back into work before resuming our non-negotiables.

But without the foundation,

  • Sleeping 8 hours
  • Getting back in the gym
  • Eating healthy

we’re building on quicksand.

Think of it like pouring concrete: if you rush to build before it sets, the whole structure collapses.

Your body, health, and routines are the concrete. Without them, your work crashes too.

This is how we look, building on quicksand.

So, to reset, I built a bounce-back system.

Let me tell you how it works.

My Bounce-Back System

It's a system that helps me bounce back from any setback or bout of inconsistency.

Here’s how it works:

  • Rebuild the foundation (non-negotiables) first
    • Sleep: 8 hours
    • Gym: 6x per week
    • Food: track calories + eat clean
  • Set real expectations
    • Week 1 won’t be peak performance.
    • The goal isn’t “perfect,” it’s “reset.”
  • Stack small wins
    • Hit a workout... good or bad
    • Follow my plan for the day
    • Celebrate momentum.

📈 Proof It Works

In August, I attended a festival and traveled to Seattle. Let's analyze my week after this vacation.

  • 4 workouts (skipped my run to avoid injury)
  • Slept ~8 hours every night
  • Returned my diet to normal

Which allowed me to

  • Complete 2.5 more lessons in my program
  • Build my first n8n automation
  • Finish my newsletter
  • 2 of my clients hit new milestones
    • First organized all-star week
    • One client finished their first piece of gaming content. Listen to his daily journal here!
  • Work 8 - 9 hours per day
  • Still had a fire weekend with my GF

Week 2 has been a breeze!

All because of my bounce-back system.

🧠 Why It Works

Results = actions. When the actions stop, so do the results.

Your bounce-back depends on how fast you return to non-negotiable habits, not how much work you grind through.

And when you lower the pressure—accepting that Week 1 isn’t perfect—you actually recover faster instead of spiraling.

In the past, my mistake was:

  • Expecting to snap back immediately
  • Feeling crushed when it didn’t happen
  • Losing trust in myself

That’s the bounce-back system: set yourself up to win, then win.

That's how you regain momentum!

✅ What You Can Do Right Now

  1. Write down your 3 non-negotiables. Here are mine!
  2. Next time you return from vacation or you have a setback, focus on only those for 7 days.
  3. Don’t measure “perfect work” — just measure whether you reset your foundation.
  4. Enjoy your Labor Day weekend

Try this, and you’ll be shocked at how fast momentum returns.

Rebuild Your Foundation Before Work

  • Vacations = hidden crash
  • Health > Work
  • Reset, don’t rush
  • Stack small wins
  • Bounce back fast

🚀 ADHD Entrepreneurs — Tired of Inconsistent or Non-existent Revenue?

You’re smart. Visionary. Capable.

But if you’re anything like my clients were before we started:

You're constantly…

  • Falling off after a strong start
  • Overthinking the simplest next steps
  • Avoiding your own ideas (even the good ones)
  • Feeling like an imposter, because you know you're capable… but it’s not showing

All of this leads to the same pain:

  • Big half-finished dreams.
  • Endless to-dos.
  • Zero momentum.

You’re not lazy — your systems just aren’t designed for your brain.

What if that changed?

What if you could:
✅ Turn your ideas into action on command
✅ Stick to routines
✅ Eliminate clutter, and friction — fast
✅ Launch & build a profitable business
✅ Bounce back from chaos without starting over
✅ Feel confident knowing your systems catch you every time
