Hey Reader, Today, I want to share how focusing on my health has helped me survive over the past four years. Ultimately, allowing my business to reach $10k/month. As Alex Hormozi says, Over the last four years, I’ve hit every low point:
Every time, I felt like curling into a ball and calling it quits. But I didn’t. I’ve become so resilient because I prioritize my health. When you’re healthy, you can rebound from anything. Here’s why Health is WealthThink of energy as a bank account. Every challenge —bad client, failed launch, rejection—is a major cost, like a root canal, a new computer, or a new set of tires. Working out, therapy, eating healthy, and relaxing are like revenue. If you’re consistent, you build an emergency fund. If you’re sleep-deprived and stressed, it’s equivalent to living paycheck to paycheck. Think about the pressure and anxiety you must feel when you’re one event away from losing it all. It’ll affect every aspect of your life. You’ll
How can you flourish and push yourself when you’re running on fumes? You can’t! You just increase your chances of “filing for bankruptcy,” or giving up on your dreams. Now, let’s look at the other side. When you have an emergency fund, major costs and challenges don’t impact your life. This strategy has allowed me to
Since I'm consistent with my health, I can withstand any challenge. So, this list will grow because every goal is now a question of “when,” not "if." But I wasn’t always like this. Here are the mistakes that I made. Sprinting the First Mile of a MarathonI used to think
would help me reach my goals faster. It didn’t. It was like sprinting the first mile of a marathon—you feel productive, but you burn out and crash hard. Shit, you might not even finish. I used to do this all the time. I’d stay up late to squeeze in more work. For a week, I’d see increased productivity and better results. Then the crash came. My mood dipped, my output tanked, and I’d try to fix it by working even harder. But I couldn’t because I was so exhausted. So, I’d have to sleep. Then, I’d rinse and repeat. It was a terrible cycle. This behavior compounds and generates severe health problems. My cousin (a finance bro) lived this way for years. Before he turned 30, he got thyroid cancer. If he continued to prioritize work over his health, he might not be here today. Once your health especially your sleep is fucked, all kinds of problems will arise.
You'll become resistant to work because you start to dread it! So, how do we ensure that we’re always “generating revenue?” Design your day around your healthI treat my health tasks like meeting with a high-paying client. I
Here are the critical health tasks, aka nonnegotiables:
And then I put them into my calendar. This ensures they get done daily and stops me from reinventing the wheel. The time left over is available for work, relationships, and fun. This pushes me to be efficient with my time so I don’t waste my day. Parkinson's Law states “Work expands to fill the time available for completion.” Here’s how to prioritize your health and build your calendar! To ensure consistency, I track
daily using a progress tracker. Read more about this here. If you don’t have revenue coming in, you don’t have a business. So, don’t make the mistake of neglecting your health. This is the quickest way for your business to fail. Your Health Is Your Emergency Fund

Hey Reader, Today, I want to talk about how to bounce back from vacation without the post-trip anxiety spiral. Miami + Mexico City = Disaster In June, I traveled to Mexico City and Miami. Sounds amazing right? It actually was two weeks of anxiety and zero sleep. Miami was first—my sister had just won an enormous award (what a boss) and I went to celebrate. Shoutout Tricey!! I planned to work during the trip because my business was in a lull. Instead, I bounced between seminars, lunches, and...
Hey Reader, Today, I want to talk about how problem-solving is the key to unlocking your potential. Stop Covering Up Problems and Start Unlocking Your Potential Every problem you avoid is a thief—stealing your time, your energy, and your future. For years, I let mine rob me. I felt unfulfilled as a chemical engineer—I wanted to be an entrepreneur. Me working at Keurig Dr. Pepper during COVID. Let's just say it wasn't for me. Instead of building my dream, as soon as I got off work, I’d...
Hey Reader, Sorry, I missed last week! I'm launching a new program & automating more systems, so I'm more consistent! Check below if you'd like first dibs! There are only 5 spots open! Today, I want to talk about how overworking yourself builds cycles of inconsistency. The Sprint-Burnout Loop ADHDers tend to push themselves way too hard. For example, I always planned to take it easy on my runs. But then I’d spot someone ahead of me, and next thing you know—I’m sprinting at a 6-minute pace for...
