4 steps to unf*ck your entrepreneurial journey

Hey Reader,

Happy Thursday! If you're still struggling to launch your business and dream of freedom, try these steps out:

If you have a job, stop wasting all your free time on social media and TV

The only way to escape the rat race is to use your time to build a business and replace your income. If you’re squandering your limited time on social media and TV, you’ll never get ahead. If you plan to retire early, you’ll have plenty of time to binge TV. I’m saving Breaking Bad just for this moment. It’s going to go crazy, I know. Please, no spoilers haha.

Ideas are worthless without execution. Pick something and start learning.

Breadcrumbs was my first business that ultimately failed. I learned so much from Breadcrumbs that it allowed me to envision other businesses. That’s how I discovered Scattermind was possible. So, I wouldn’t be an entrepreneur if I hadn’t taken those first steps.

Building businesses will teach you more about business than anything else. The idea isn’t worth anything if you don’t start & execute. You learn to execute by building things and taking action.

Get started!

Try to sell the idea before building it

Don’t fall into the trap of building some crazy app; when you go to sell it, you realize that no one wants it. You don’t want to build a solution to a problem that doesn’t exist.

The easiest way to overcome this is - Talk to customers - Read the MOM test - Create an Avatar and Offer - Read $100M Offers - Reach out to people in your network and get them to buy it from you - SPIN selling

If you say you’re going to build something, build it and see it through

The most important thing besides starting is being consistent. Start treating your word as bond. When you say you will build something, give yourself a deadline and make it happen. If you can’t get yourself to execute and take yourself seriously, there won’t be anyone there to push you. You need to hold yourself accountable because no one else will.

Hey Reader, Today, I want to talk about how to book consistent calls and hit $10k/mo. When I launched my business, I struggled to make money. I didn’t know how to find leads. So, I posted content. I had 3 - 4 viral Reddit posts that generated a few $100/mth subscriptions, but it was inconsistent. It left me wondering How will I make any money? Does my idea suck? How can I iterate on my product if I don’t have users? Even worse, I almost ran out of money multiple times. Posting content is a...

Hey Reader, Today, I want to talk about how bad habits will steal all your time. This is an updated version of a post I made on Reddit! Bad habits are like slow leaks in a tire. You won’t see the damage right away. But they'll slow you down and leave you stranded. You can fill your tire with air, but it will eventually deflate again. When I had bad habits, I was constantly putting out fires that I created for myself. It felt like the world was stacked against me, but I was actually doing the...
